Lynn Roberts was born locally and grew up around horses. Her mother imported the first Halflinger ponies to the UK and Lynn could always be found with the horses (even when she should have been at school). After working as a rep in the equine industry and working with local vets, Lynn decided to work for herself and founded Kilnhanger Stables in 2000. Becoming a livery yard owner was her dream come true and over many years she has been able to provide help and advice to her liveries. Lynn is well known in the local equestrian world and has competed at all of the local showgrounds and cross country courses on many different horses. If you are looking for a new horse Lynn is the lady to ask as she is brilliant at suiting horses to riders. With her many connections both in the UK and abroad she can find a suiltable horse or pony for every client. At the beginning of 2026, Lynn expanded to include Shamley Wood Stables where her dream of an indoor as well as an outdoor school came true. An indoor barn for the stables and beautiful pasture in the Surrey Hills means that her liveries can now keep thir horses in luxury facilities.
